If i've got the right pub this is now a "Bath Ale" brewery pub serving all the real ale that brewery produces. The beer is in excellent condition and he pub is clean, and a pleasant place to have a drink on a crawl round Oxford. Good, knowledgeable bar staff. beershot - 16 May 2013 15:42 |
NOW CLOSED - Occupied by a TV and hi-fi retailer. Incidentally was called "The George Inn". Mona_Growser - 24 Jul 2011 17:02 |
Shabby, run down, with a fairly rough clientele. I don't think many women would feel comfortable in here. Beer (GK) was acceptable - was surprised they even carried any non keg stuff. thomashenry - 16 Apr 2010 12:38 |
Sadly not as good as when myself and DeepThought used to be regulars. FACCOMBE_HALL - 11 Jun 2009 18:58 |
Twas the nearest pub to work, and pleasant enough - i stuck to the Guinness mostly. I wonder if Stowie an Phil are still nailed to the bar? And Johnny Flynn for that matter. And Jacky, alias Ms Breasts. DeepThought - 18 Jul 2008 17:56 |
