| This place is hell on earth. I used to visit York regularly and always stayed here but never again; it is run by the most unscrupulous dregs of the earth and has been reported to the authorities. | We,ve just got back from our 2nd visit this year and I have to say it was brilliant, The Five Lions is a wonderful place to stay, the rooms are excellent and the staff are fantastic. The pub itself is so central to everywhere within York and we have booked to go back again just before christmas and I dare say we,l be going again next year.
