| Stopped by for lunch yesterday. Lovely pub with big stone floors, a proper fire and little hidden unexpected cubby holes. Wonderful menu, upon which I overindulged. | Nice traditional country pub with first class food. Landlords son is the head chef and he knows his stuff. Usually have a guest beer on with 6X as the regular which is always in excellent condition. Only real downside is that drinks are fiendishly expensive. Over 3 quid for 6X? | Great pub and great food. i sat by the fire and had a really enjoyable lunch here. Friendly staff and an excellent place to stop off at if you are travelling past Bath on the M4.
