| Been in here for the last two Sundays for lunch. Beer was excellent - I had TT Landlord both occasions, also has Doom Bar, Gem & London Pride. Very good service by friendly bar staff. Food was also very good and brought to the table in record time - less than 3 minutes! Very wholesome food, no pre prepared or microwave stuff here. Garden and surrounding countryside are lovely. | This is a lovely little country pub, with a really warm welcome. It serves good food, athough some meals are a little overpriced for what you get. Infact, you are probably better spending a �1.00 more and having something deliciously home cooked, rather than having the egg and chips. It is children and dog friendly, as you would expect for a village pub, and the walled garden is well secluded and has a very small children's swing. The toilets could do with a revamp as they smell quite mouldy and suffer with damp. | Dropped in to this pub on a Fridat lunchtime and got a very friendly welcome. Excellent choice of real ales and when I commented that I thought the Speckled Hen was "past its best" the barrel was changed immediately and a "thank-you" was given.
