Its bloody expensive here, 3.75 for a pint is ridiculous for a young man trying to make it in this world. The staff serve underage kids with no id just to rip them off all their pocket money for that week. They allow daniel perry to buy beverages, this is unbelievable. much improved, friendly pub! AlRobis - 30 Dec 2010 23:39 |
Disappointing, only two casks on, Theakston Bitter of average quality. Used to be a much better pub, looked more like a youth club. AlRobis - 31 Jan 2010 13:20 |
Despite once the best pub food in Standish it hasn't served food in quite a while now. Looking a bit tired lately with beer adequate but nothing special. Nice quiet place to read the paper during the day as its bright and you'll have about half the pub to yourself as virtually no-one goes in. Shame really freddy12 - 5 Jan 2010 19:54 |
Warm welcoming pub, friendly atmosphere, clean and bright yet cozy. Theakstons cask bitter and Old Speckled Hen, both kept well. AlRobis - 22 Mar 2008 11:10 |
