Good pub, a mix of locals and students. The booze is cheap but the selection is lacking, only one ale on (Holts bitter) which has been okay when I've drunk it, I usually stick to the Diamond lager though. Spirits are also cheap as spirits go (about 2.95 for a double whisky). Wezzielad - 1 Dec 2016 01:33 |
A typical holts pub cheap and scruffy a bit like the clientele really. Full of dodgy characters and surly staff. Next door to a rough council estate need i say more. Best avoided. nokegthanks - 29 Apr 2010 17:40 |
Any pub that provides three pints of beer for less than a fiver has got to be worth a visit. Wazza407 - 10 Jan 2008 18:30 |
Visited this establishment on Saturday night. There were about 5 people in, the beer was warm and fizzy. I had to swap it for a pint of Crystal lager. This pub, sadly, appears on it's knees anonymous - 6 Mar 2007 22:29 |
Cheap and friendly, but not a pub for the young to drink in as the main clientele are older. Also, the pub attracts a lot of "scruffs". Good jukebox though. jamied - 28 Jun 2005 13:08 |
