What a miserable and un-welcoming place! Dropped by Saturday over the BH weekend, it was 2.30. Food available? Nah, kitchen closed, not even a cheese sandwich said with out a smile and shrug of shoulders Stuff it then obviously dont need the business, others do!

Go there again, possibly not.

You walk into this pub and you are welcomed straight away the landlords are superb, the toilets are spotless and always smell nice, the whole pub is very clean and the lager is the best tasting lager than other pubs weve been in,although ive only eaten once here it was a very good experience excellent food and fresh i would highly recommend this pub also alot of entertainment nights with well behaved customers.Theyve really thought about smokers too with their summerhouse nice and enclosed with heaters.

Two years after my first visit.
Still friendly staff and a cracking pint of Harveys.
In these difficult times for local pubs this is one that is deffinately worth a visit and your support.

Such a fabulous pub to go into. Les and Tim are very welcoming, food is delicious and smoke house is fab espically in this cold weather. They have thought of everything and look after their customers. Whats even better is that their daughter Dawn and Son in law Bill have just taken on a pub in Crowborough called the Whitehill Tavern and that is also very welcoming when we went in there as they are so friendly and greet you with a smile. Will definately call in there in again and see them.

Brilliant pub for all ages! The food is all freshly cooked and the portions are just big enough. The beer garden in the summer is excellent. Also in the winter thanks to the thatched area with heating! All the staff and people who visit there are friendly and you can never be sure to be sat there on your own.
