Refurbished in the last year or so, this is now a cracking village pubwith well kept Taylor's and Saltaire Brewery beers on draught. Good bar food and separate very popular bar food. Friendly staff and owner/landlord. whites68 - 16 Sep 2012 21:01 |
Moved to Morton in Jan 2011. Pleasantly surprised by the pub. Beer is excellent. Saltaire Blonde always on with Tetleys. 2 changing guest ales, consisting usually of Taylor's Landlord and one other. Decent menu, friendly staff, roaring fire, beer garden. On the down side the grub can be a bit pricey and it can get mega busy. Apparently though miles better than it was a few years back. Nice little pub in a pleasant village. Old Spot Light But Dark, Everards Sunchaser, Taylor Landlord and Tetleys Bitter were all available. Inside was fairly busy but the loud music was a little off-putting. We opted for the nice courtyard at the front, where we sat and enjoyed our drinks with a setting sun. Service was fairly friendly. blue_scrumpy - 4 May 2011 18:24 |
This public house is under refurbishment, The restaurant is already up and running. The food is first class. Every attention to detail is important to the owners, chef and restaurant manageress. The food may be a little pricey but you get what you payfor. If you want cheaper food, you get rubbish food. The food is freshly cooked no microwave. The pies and other things are all home made. We went for Valentine's evening , it was amazing with the food and the staff had gone to the trouble to make the night a memorable one. A Rose and chocolates awaited. Theses people only took the pub in July of 2010, so it is wrong to read comments before that date. We will definitely be going back and by talking to diners, it was not the first time they had been and would not be the last. Drink prices are the same as elsewhere. pig44gie - 17 Feb 2011 18:56 |
Had a beautiful meal at the Busfeild Arms (21/12/10) for my birthday. They staff were very busy with Christmas bookings but fit us in and we were made to feel very special. The meals were lovely, nothing too much trouble and they even surprised me with a 'birthday cake' and candles. Thanks for a lovely evening. Highly recommended. micknlynne - 21 Dec 2010 20:38 |
