| On the suggestion of a local we rolled into this pub post-football for a couple of hours on a Friday evening. There was only one ale remaining on, though it was in top condition, however the evening was made by the brilliantly entertaining landlord and his staff who were great fun. | Great beer, Roger is a fantastic landlord, friendly customers and some great homemade grub. Everything about this pub is spot on. Yes it's a little more expensive drinks wise than some of the other pubs in the locality (as some of you have pointed out), but I don't mind paying extra for a decent beer in nice, clean, friendly surroundings.
