Poor old Robins - getty tattier by the day. Not even painted properly on the outside, with signs not even matching Not sure if it is even really a pub anymore - the current proprieters are obviously desperate for any kind of income and have now put a Commercial Car Wash in the Car Park. Perhaps it is about to be rebranded as a Transport Cafe - who knows? MaryJane222 - 7 Oct 2008 12:32 |
Quite chavvy barmaids in tracksuits with big hoop earings, but a great pint of Doombar all the same, 6/10 fat_beer_badger - 18 Feb 2008 14:57 |
The Robins is a hard-core Bristol City pub and is packed on a match day. Other days it has a flowing custom and is popular with locals. It has two rooms, but the first nearer the door is the main pub area. A working mans pub to some extent, but never the less has a good friendly atmosphere. The standard collection of commerial booze is behind the bar. Don't go to this pub if your not a fan of smoking as it gets foggy in there and also wearing a football shirt that is not Bristol City would be unwise. Bazmatti - 2 Apr 2007 20:17 |
