| Excellent little boozer which I found open @11.30am on yesterday (Bank Hol) At first it is just me but not much later six or seven others arrive. Friendly barman (may be the Landlord?) who had a chat. As stated below 2 hand pumps with Batemand Rosry Nosey the guest today. | Having visited this pub on many occasions I can thoroughly recommend Highlights are the music evenings on Wednesday and Saturday ,Whilst I live in New Zealand I feel as though I could easily make it my local ,a good selection of beers and a very friendly atmosphere ,full marks to Simon for running the best pub in Hurstpierpoint FECRSE - 15 May 2009 02:04 |
| Food Choices are excellent and staff are friendly. Looking forward to some decent weather so the outdoors area will be available which should really benifit families with small children.
