People say it's expensive but not when you consider its table service and they are premium lagers but they do have to try a little harder if they want the exclusive, high-class feel they are after. robamy - 30 Nov 2009 16:38 |
One of our prty had Sunday roast. It left a lot to be desired. 'Aunt Bessie' had helped out a bit too much. Bland, very average, not very good value for money either. blueeeeey - 15 Mar 2009 18:48 |
I've just eaten in the Tin Drum ......... wish we had gone anywhere else. Rubbish food. Wrong orders brought. Boringly predictable as they didn't write any orders down. The tapas menu ...... don't bother if you're a veggie. Not much to write home about if you're not. 'Halloumi skewers' arrived with 1 weeny cube of halloumi on a skewer. Really pathetic, didn't pay. Also ordered a chick pea and lentil stew - I'm 99% positive it was straight out of a can. It tasted like it, had nothing good going for it, so may as well have been if not. It was all just below average. One sweet waitress, who was very affable about the crappy halloumi, so service wasn't terrible. To sum up: Overpriced, pretentious when it really doesn't need to be, dull and lacking in atmosphere generally. Go anywhere else. blueeeeey - 15 Mar 2009 18:45 |

No not really a pub. Not a bad place at all but it's not a pub. Not everywhere can be a pub can it? Otherwise where would you buy hosiery? terenced - 10 Jan 2008 13:41 |
