Friendly enough place with a core of "locals". A bit pricey for what it is though. skippybn21 - 19 Aug 2010 10:43 |
Nice pub, and great live music (blues mainly) on various days (thurs & Sun mainly), it used to be very smokey, then the new laws came in, but they have a beer terrace, with heaters and cover in the winter, and some varied ales on tap. The only bad thing I can say, is the toilets are disgusting, and I hope they sort them out soon... 7/10 (would be a 10/10 if the toilets were sorted) Keniff - 1 Oct 2008 21:17 |

Good beer, regular change of ales. Live music most Sundays and Thursdays. Mixed aged groups. Mix of people typical for central Brighton. Pleasant patio garden for the summer. anonymous - 13 Feb 2007 19:14 |
Went in with the intention of ordering a beer but the atmosphere made my eyes water before I could even get to the bar. They could certainly do with some smoke extractors! If you don't smoke you probably won't like it here. Trequites - 12 Dec 2005 14:03 |
