The Brewery Tap is a lively place, where live music is clearly popular. Quite a few were in to watch what appeared to be a rock band. Despite it being busy, I managed to grab a seat. The ale range was disappointing - Timothy Taylor Landlord & Golden Best, Thwaite's Lancaster Bomber & St Austell Proper Job. They no longer stock a real cider. A bit too busy for my liking. I retreated up the hill to the fabulously named Idle Working Men's Club (not listed on BITE). blue_scrumpy - 30 Sep 2019 20:53 |
Great local pub, very warm welcome. Real cider and a real perry on offer when i went. 4 cask ales on, tetleys, copper dragon, ilkley and one id never heard of from Arbor - vry hoopy! no rampant dogs except 2 lovely Airedale terriers who belonged to the landlord - he wasnt red faced and rude either - nice chap actually! Made to feel welcome and chatted along throughout my stay - a would go back to kind of pub. Ruby1006 - 11 Sep 2014 19:47 |
Always found this a friendly little pub and good for live bands. bfmn531 - 12 May 2013 15:57 |
I've not had to tangle with any red faced landlords, but have found this to be a great place to see live rock covers bands and drink some real ale. The beer selection has always been very limited on my visits but the quality has been good and has included something from one of the local breweries. nimbusexpress - 24 Aug 2010 00:19 |
