Went here for a family celebration, the food and service was excellent. The restaurant area is extended by moving large folding doors to make a really huge area. There is a small bar at the front, beer was in fine condition (London Pride) Feed - 6 Feb 2013 08:45 |
I have been here for the monthly jazz on a Friday evening, twice recently. This pub does not seem to know wether it is trying to be a restaurant or a pub! Staff are efficient in serving food, but the bar service is slower. I do not know if I would go here if it was not for the music.. jbsjazzer - 11 Jun 2012 12:15 |
I was there for a group Christmas lunch. The food was excellent and plentiful, the service prompt and friendly, and the Doom Bar (from a barrel behind the bar) was perfect. I'm not too sure the coffee wasn't instant, though, but that's quibbling. I shall certainly visit again. Meadway - 6 Dec 2008 13:56 |

Nice food, good ales, pleasant atmosphere. Maybe a tiny bit on the pricy side but a pub I usually visit at least 2-3 times a year although it is a 50-mile round trip (which does sadly limit the potential for ale-sampling, unless I persuade the wife to drive). Definitely worth a try. Benjiboy - 28 Dec 2006 18:09 |
