| Possibly it's just me, but I have found that the refurb has got rid/is getting rid of of much of the character that it had, whilst not really adding anything to the place. (Cheddar Valley cider is discontinued, by the way, replaced by Orchard Pig... not my favourite.) I suspect that I will transfer my custom to the Bath Arms in Crockerton, just up the road. | Lovely friendly pub, the landlord and all the staff are very nice and helpful, the beer is fantastic (and local!). The food was wholesome and homemade and reasonable value for money. Will visit again soon. BarryBeard - 28 Jan 2009 19:21 |
| Stopped by for lunch today. The food is very good and they have Cheddar Valley cider. A great many people were eating the "over 60s specials" and it would seem to be mainly a "mature" clientele (looks like a fairly good bet if you're over 60, though).
