| The review below must of been an off day as this really is a great little pub and what makes it great is its all about beer which in this day and age of gastro pubs almost makes this a theme bar. | Used to be excellent � good beer, food and service. Sadly today, under the new management, service, food and ambience were atrocious. We waited an hour for fish and chips � overcooked and inedible. Glasses were dirty, white wine served at room temperature. No apology, the barman was surly, charmless, aggressive and cared only about presenting us with the bill.
