I visited this pub a few weeks back and found it very friendly the staff made us feel very welcome i have read the other reviews on this pub and can not understand the views of other people we thought that the decor needs updating but was clean and tidy but the atmosphere made up for it this pub is not a shit hole and would urge others to take a look and be pleasantly surprised anonymous - 2 Nov 2006 22:54 |
we visited this pub last night, we were a bit cautious after reading the last review but we wanted to see for ourselves, this pub has recently changed hands, we found it to be very clean, freindly atmosphere and the beer was great, a nice place to take the kids but they have to be out by 8.30pm, they have entertainment at weekends too, i would deffinately be going back to visit this pub andyboy040 - 28 Oct 2006 12:26 |
This pub can be discribed in one word.A shitehole.(ok I know for the pureists that is 2 words)It is stuck in the middle of an estate that seems to have no other choice of a pub other than this dump. There is no atmosphere in this place, not even any real ale.It may be ok if you like pool as there are two pool tables in the back but if you like a beer steer well clear.Dont even bother to spend the 2.90 on the bus fare from the town centre as you will be much better off having a duff pint of IPA in the railway.Believe me,that is saying something. apa - 4 Jul 2006 18:20 |
