Clearly now has better management.Same price for two roasts and two drinks as the White Swan but 100% better food and service Very presentable pub in decor and cleanliness and the two bar staff despite being very busy were polite and attentive Other pubs in the area could follow this pubs example wooser - 14 Aug 2022 10:24 |
In much need of good management. f6c - 23 Jan 2015 17:55 |
Good beer and friendly service, but let down by some aggressive locals... mrsparks67 - 2 Jul 2014 22:43 |
Ii is in the middle of the town but has a rather austere interior - bare floorboards etc. The lounge is long and wide but the seating is very basic - hard wooden seats. They had 3 real ales on the bar and the food is rather expensive for a scruffy pub. However the roast beef on Sunday was excellent value at £6.95. boozers_knows - 21 Oct 2013 11:17 |
Absolutely awful pub full of benefit bandits and alkies. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Honeybadger - 10 Jun 2012 14:02 |
