Three ales in reasonable nick, food pretty good as well. Beware long food queues in the evening as everyone rushes to place orders when the kitchen opens. Newish pub, but has a separate public bar types section with pool and darts Wilson_MacDonald - 14 Aug 2016 16:43 |
Fantastic beer and beer prices along with the food! Would go here every day if I had it my way! Friendly and very good looking bar staff too :) MindfulLyric - 31 Aug 2014 15:10 |
Nice pub, good food better and cheaper than the holliday park next door. The sunday carvery is well worth a visit 1275TURBO - 18 Jul 2012 15:34 |
Fairly new pub next to Sandford Holiday Park with skittles alley and dart board. Bar ladies served locals first. Beers included Ringwood and St Austell. Busy pub but reasonably priced food served quickly although I had to go back to ask for cutlery. Robin_from_Swanage - 3 Apr 2012 18:40 |
We were at Sandford Caravan Park last May and to be honest, felt that we wre being ripped off at the on site prices. We had noticed the pub on our way into the campsite and decided we would give it a try. OMG!!! The food was astounding. Small fish and chips arrived promptly, with two huge fish fillets and more chips than you could shake a stick at. And the price was great value for money. We are back at Sandford in a few days time and will be having all meals at the pub. You would think someone at the camp site would realise that they are being out classed by their neighbours!!!
