| I used to visit on a regular basis and I would have given it a 8/9 out of 10. All the food was home cooked. I'm not sure if it has changed hands but the meal was awful. I don't expect to pay �9.95 for frozen cod and chips. My husband asked for mash with his faggots and was told that it wasn't possible, he had to settle for the frozen chips as well. | Friendly village pub, serving excellent real ale (Butcombe Bitter and IPA on our visit) and very good meals to a range of budgets. Staff were friendly and helpful. The 267 bus between Bath and Frome calls just outside. fromedrinker - 27 Nov 2006 14:49 |
