As pretty as a picture inside and out and set in a beautiful valley of the River Avon. Even on a Monday, the car park was virtually full. The £3.70 Keystone Gold Hill was average; Pennine Best was also on sale but I decided this might be best drunk in Yorkshire. Ciders from Box Clever. Sells cakes at the bar which is a step up from pickled eggs I suppose. paul_d102 - 20 Aug 2018 19:23 |
Beautiful 16th Century pub in a lovely village. Just as lovely on the inside. We went for Sunday Lunch..... Pricey at £14 per meal, but great service. Real Ales were from the Steam Box Brewery - Not seen this before, so hard to comment. Seemed to be in decent nick. A decent place to go. Mappiman - 14 Nov 2016 19:23 |
Not Sure what the last comment was about as I went to this pub in early July and the staff we very friendly, and service was very prompt. My food was wonderful and very quick for fresh made food. NO complaintes from me or the group of friends that were with me. I understand that there is a new manager, and he has only been there 2 months so maybe it was who ever was in charge before they are commenting about. The pub now has music on a wed night and were lucky enough to see it very good swing music and a bit of jazz as well which made the pub very busy. most enjoyable night and will be back well done to all of you at the Inn and see you very soon beermaker - 22 Jul 2009 18:05 |
