| Old exterior at odds with modern, lounge-style interior. Made very welcome. Good beer at modest prices. The lunch menu was varied and interesting. We plumped for sandwiches and a Ploughman's. The sandwiches were generous doorsteps & well garnished. The Ploughman's was execellent, with Stilton, a mature Cheddar and a ripe Brie. | Popped in for a quick one. Ordinary enough looking pub but the staff were friendly, the beer was good and though we didn't eat the menu looked interesting and reasonable. gdm - 7 May 2008 13:40 |
