More of a locals place than the Royal. Large beer garden and function room at the back, but we ate in the front bar. The Bath Gem was well kept and I noticed Otter on as guest. (The van must have been in the area!). Smallish menu with specials, but a good selection of veggie meals as well as those for carnivores. Very friendly, but appears that they prefer card payment, as I was handed the machine when I went to pay. captaineric - 18 Aug 2018 15:55 |
Looks nice from the outside. But there's not too much to recommend inside. It's a fairly ordinary pub. Although the garden looked nice. Ales were HPA & Doom Bar. Customers seemed to be primarily locals. blue_scrumpy - 11 Jul 2015 22:58 |
Hired the function room for my daughters wedding....1 word, Amazing they have an absolutely fantastic team of staff who went out of their way to make my daughter and her husband's day so special. 10 out of 10 for customer care. will definately be using them again in the future. Thankyou all at The Merryfellow Inn. Lisa Redding lisar1966 - 12 Mar 2012 00:13 |
Nice tucked away pub for locals, friendly with all ages, more basic inside but good garden with aviary and has a variety of beers including on our visit Black Sheep and Sharp's Doom Bar. lout_from_the_lane - 31 May 2005 10:14 |
