user reviews of Nine Fine Irishmen, Las Vegas

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

I don't generally do any gimmick pub let alone a fake Irish tavern in America!

But...the Nine Fine Irishmen is a decent joint.

Again for a bar / pub in a hotel this place is pricey but the entertainment is very good.

Great location in the middle of the casino floor means on my visits it's always been busy

Visited this place a couple of times last week. Done out in dark wood over two floors in a "traditional" Irish pub theme. You wont be too disappointed with this place - good range of beers and bar food. They also have an Irish band playing most nights from 9, be advised to get there early as it gets very busy - a tip is to go upstairs where there is another good sized bar.

I love this pub! I go to Vegas every March, usually around St. Patrick's Day. During this time there are Irish ales and lagers available that aren't served the rest of the year. The friendly staff pours a quality pint and the beer is always in great condition. It does get crowded, but what can you expect from a place with great beer, great food & great live music? I give it a 10!

I was a bit disappointed by this place especially as it is advertised as a pub, and an Irish one at that. It is largely geared to food and there is a table-booking desk outside, although you can walk in if you only want a drink. The actual bar is fairly small given the overall size of the place and it can be a fight to find somewhere to sit. There are six beers on tap but nothing special, Guinness costs $6.50 for about 0.5l but at least it was poured correctly which is unusual in the US. There are high ceilings and many alcoves, archways and stairs leading off the main bar to eating areas. It is stereotypically decorated with various things hanging from the ceiling and bric-a-brac laden dressers, plus there's some rather annoying faux diddley-diddley music. It does not seem overtly Irish but then again I've never been into an Irish bar in New York. The food menu looks good and the service friendly and efficient, so the faint but insistent rumbling you can hear is not the stomachs of hungry diners waiting for their food, it's the roller coaster outside.

Pub imported from Ireland.
I think its a nice effort.
Some seating overlooking the Strip.
Good live music after 9pm
