Visited again a week or two ago, Friday night and it was awful. Same sticky carpets and floor, vastly overpriced drinks and a barn like 'disco/dance' hall at the rear. Still somewhere best avoided unless really desperate for a beer later on or you've been refused entry everywhere else! Anubis99 - 27 May 2008 14:45 |
Not a place for the faint-hearted! alebear - 20 Dec 2007 12:29 |
made the mistake of booking a room here. How can a hotel host weekend disco's?. The room was Tatty and we were bitten several times during the night. On the weekends do not think of wanting to go to seep before all the children have left. Then they drunkley congregate outside and see who can make the loudest noise. We came back to the hotel from our night out and the place looked like and tip all you could smell was the stench of stale beer. Was going to go to the disco when we got back but the bouncers were very roughly removing some lads. A place not to stay in or to drink in unless your under 20. Terroricia - 16 Nov 2007 11:31 |
Stupidly expensive, carpets and bars still sticky, certainly would never recommend anyone actually stay there as the back rooms are now just another nightclub on Fri/Sat nights. Free entry early on but 5 after midnight!! Anubis99 - 24 Jul 2006 10:01 |
Expensive. A good haunt to replace chaplins for the older crowd. Also a good place to go to avoid any massive queues for life before going there later. anonymous - 8 Feb 2006 16:02 |
