This place is now called the Owl's Nest and is now some kind of café. Certainly not a pub anymore. blue_scrumpy - 27 Mar 2017 19:07 |
Probably the worst pub in andover now. The real ales are just shocking. They only sell cans of fosters and strongbow purchased from asda across the road. Whilst I was there the landlord passed an ashtray to a customer and told him he did not need to go outside! There was a cat on top of the bar grooming itself. That couple should never be allocated to run a pub. Shocking. Will never walk in that place again. PSM0084 - 28 Jul 2014 15:01 |
Strange place. Could be so much better, not sure if the 'gay couple' are still there or not. I was served by a very nice barnaid (no complaints there!!). The only had 6X on hand pump, no one was drinking it, so as I don't know the place had a pint of lager!!! wolvesfan - 11 Sep 2013 18:34 |
A good town boozer with split personality - lounge bar is a superb throwback to old world country pub & is a perfect antidote to most of Andover's main street offering. The public bar is pub-sport oriented (not a bad thing) & a bit soleless. The beer is well kept & landlord seems very friendly. Dogwort - 20 Jan 2009 22:31 |
Not been into The Lamb in years then a couple of recent visits. It is a small pub and tucked away from the rest of the high street of NAdover, however it does serve a range of decent ales often changing. Can be a bit quiet but put some music on the well stacked jukebox and rack a game or two of pool or throw some darts then it's a great little place to go. One of the better pubs in town now I reckon.
