Have been there on many occassions but this time I took by 13week-old grandson, my daughter and my mum. What a warm and friendly welcome for 4 generations . The pub is suited to all ages and the menu was outstanding again. The selection is wide and varied suiting vegetarians through to carnivores. the sweets selection was good - try the honeycomb cheesecake!! Good priced food with excellent relaxing atmosphere.Beer good and service was excellent. Highly recommend and looking forward to my future visits. Drmark - 12 Sep 2010 12:59 |
Can't believe it is my third visit to the area and first visit to this charming old pub. Had a lovely meal, spoiled for choice on the menu, and enjoyed the real ales too. Won't miss going there next time in the area. gillhalfpint - 18 Jan 2009 21:10 |
On return to the three pigeons after 2months I was still very impressed with the variety of the food menu and well kept beer. The fish menu was impressive but the Lobster was perfect. Staff are warm, chatty and friendly. I just loved the atmosphere and looking forward to visiting again. Drmark - 7 Jul 2008 20:19 |
Full of character, beams, open fireplace, - linked to the highwayman Humphrey Kynaston. Food menu excellent and extensive, catering for all tastes. Fish menu excellent - food from the specials board and the Fish special was excellent - service was good. Friendly, attractive bar staff.Inside the pub is well looked after, warm and friendly. I will go there again for the food, beer and friendly chatty Tasha. anonymous - 20 Aug 2007 15:41 |
