Real locals pub with one real ale (Top Totty- good enough but clearly not a bug seller) and a decent welcome for a "foreigner". The Portuguese cafe over the road sells Sages stout, by the way. mtaylor40 - 28 Jul 2013 17:24 |
Looks like an olde-worlde thatched idyll from the outside, but walk in and you find yourself in what is clearly the local lads' pub. Everyone was friendly enough though, the guest real ale was good, and the young neck-tattooed barman proved surprisingly knowledgeable about the Soham railway disaster of 1944. Imagine it gets lively on a Saturday night though, and I wouldn't want to spill the wrong person's pint accidentally. E17Bee - 4 Nov 2012 15:27 |
Awful! Full of undesirables, quite a few people smoking 'herbal cigarettes' in the back yard and all the chaps seemed to be queuing for the cubicle to powder their noses every time I went into the Gents. lovethypub - 16 Mar 2010 16:52 |
