The Little Rose is, yet again, under new management. The Pub suffers somewhat in that it is not in full view of the road and can easily be missed by passing traffic. It also suffers as a result of bad management in the past. The current management Louise and Jason, a couple from Yorkshire are warm and friendly, and are determined to make an effort to regain the 'Village Pub atmosphere'. They invite you and your family to join them. The Pub sells traditional ales, has a pool table, large TV screen - even internet access in the bar. Outside are large lawns, with tables for family dining, and a large car park. There is also a Petanque piste (the pub team holds its own against other teams in the area). This outside area is child-friendly and includes a number of swings for their use. Jason is a chef, and it his intention to eventually build a full menu of Pub food, bar snacks, and Sunday lunches for your enjoyment. The Pub is on a well known route for walkers or cyclists exploring the villages and churches in the area nicely placed for a short break or a spot of lunch. If you are a group I suggest that you phone ahead for food. Why not drop in and try for yourself. If the Pub is not used the grounds are likely to be sold off to developers. I ask you to "Use it, or lose it". Why not give it a try? Under this couple the Pub has risen to 3 stars - but it will improve with your help.
