| Visited the pub hoping for interesting beers only to find a rather dull choice of Marstons & Courage. Still it is a pleasant enough place, and the area is surprisingly rural in feel although it is just outside the M25. | Visited for the first time (and the second time) in 15 years even though I only live 3 miles away. In short I'm glad I rediscovered the pub. As an ale drinker I found a good selction of local ales (Brentwood) and guests (Sharps Doom Bar, Adnams Broadside). Will def do a third visit soon. In short a good country pub on the outskirts of Brentwood. Does home cooked food (not tried). One word of warning - the pub is on a lethal bend, be warned. twineyboy - 25 Mar 2009 00:44 |
