Small one bar pub that was fairly busy late on Monday afternoon as they were preparing for a wine-tasting evening. Ales were Williams Brothers Birds & Bees, Inveralmond Ossian, Orkney Dark Island, Caledonian Deuchars IPA & Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted. Cider was Addlestones. Nice enough pub. blue_scrumpy - 30 Jul 2015 21:58 |
Good friendly atmosphere in here, decent it of Deuchars IPA. Decent folk band playing to. Recommended. Illavhalf - 2 Sep 2013 22:54 |
Only dropped in for a swift drink and to check out what time the live music started but overall impression very good. Friendly staff and a good crowd. How often do you see a guy go out for a smoke and leave his wallet to guard his pint? Not where I live anyway. REVERENDBAZ - 21 Apr 2011 09:12 |
Small, busy, friendly, a good selection of ales in fine condition served with care and respect. Only sorry I could not stay longer, but time was running out. Stamfordian - 10 Nov 2010 10:27 |
Hard to pass by-sometimes wish it was in a quieter street but hey-ho. Take a wrong turning going to the toilet and you are in the band. Cotnap - 21 Sep 2010 21:38 |
