| The only thing monstrous about this place is the beer, which is clrealy one of the eponymous (or would be if spelt correctly) Doctor's rejected potions. That said the food was good value for money. It was well cooked and tasty and fairly cheap. And it's a real bonus that students can eat cheaply there. As for the decor, it is good clean fun, and although the novelty wears off, their target market (students, hens, stags etc) has a good venue. ETA - 7 Nov 2008 09:13 |

| Have been there, pleasant staff, help allowed us to have several tasters of different ales, decor gets 'old' very quickly, and very gloomy inside, had us both sqinting at our nachos, to see what we where eating... worth one visit, okay if you're local Drinking.Chuck - 2 Nov 2006 14:45 |
