| I took my family, and 2 grandchildren to have a look at the newly re opened GREAT LYDE pub, I was very impressed, two palmers beers on handpulls,best bitter and copper ale, both very drinkable,.The food menu on offer was very reasonably priced, and quite a good selection of typical pub food, the kids settled for fish fingers and mash, with peas, and the rest of us had sandwiches, which were served with a very nice side salad and crisps, The new head chef served us personally,and I had to congratulate him on both service and value for money.The rest of the staff were very helpful, and the pub itself is very clean and comfortable, Most impressed,well done to you all rogervfell - 21 Feb 2014 12:48 |

| Paid a visit recently. Seems greatly improved. A good welcome and well kept Palmers beers. The food needs to be tried before I make a further comment, but the signs are good after a dodgy period. beerpilgrim - 3 Nov 2011 20:58 |
