Traditional street corner style 'L' shaped pub that is relatively unspoilt. Only Marstons Pedigree on but it was a decent enough pint. Ominously there is a large 'pub to let' sign hanging over the place outside so it may not remain an unspoilt Midlands local fo rmuch longer. anonymous - 6 Mar 2011 13:31 |
Recommended. Great beer, and always has been. Old fashioned but probably the cleanest pub in town, you can see your reflection in the tables. Traditional and very good. rob69 - 20 May 2007 08:06 |
Very traditional working mens pub with real care taken over the Pedigree and friendl locals mtaylor40 - 6 Sep 2006 23:42 |
Must agree with yam69 the guinness is great, the only reason it is not trendy is the fact that it is perched on the old A5 and does not have a car park. Friendly staff good beer what more could you ask for. (a car park!!!!) Lemontop - 26 Jul 2005 19:57 |
A good old fashioned pub with a great gaffer & really friendly bar staff. one of the best pints of Guinness in Tamworth & the Pedigree isn`t bad either ! not a trendy pub (which isn`t a bad thing !) recommended yam69 - 1 Jun 2005 23:55 |
