I used this pub for a good 18 months for midweek drinks with pals as we had all ended up living in the area. It is very small but it feels like an old pub and you don't get that very often these days. The bar staff were always pleasant. The beer is ok. The locals never really warmed to us though, and they probably won't like you much either. drsausages - 14 Sep 2008 00:01 |
I live in Smethwick, been here for 7yrs now, for 4yrs of that this pub was a nice friendly pub with a brilliant atmosphere, the bar staff we're always nice and chatty, never gave funny looks to anyone, over the last couple of yrs it has lost it's atmosphere, i dont know why but it has. Still a nice pub to visit and always will be. akkablunose - 19 Feb 2008 21:14 |
I like this pub.Nice beers & friendly locals make for a pleasent evening. It is a very small pub & can get crowded, but it is friendly & not too loud.Worth a visit. Mr.Raffles - 13 Jul 2005 14:34 |
This Pub is just too small, Bar staff give you funny looks if your not a "local". Not exactly welcoming. anonymous - 2 Jan 2005 19:34 |
