| A pub trying hard to improve and making a good fist of it. Personally I think the beer is too cold and the juke box too loud but that is personal choice. The owner gives locals the opportunity to contribute to the choices of real ale which is well kept and Hobsons is a regular on the two hand pumps. Now worth a visit. markhone - 13 Feb 2015 13:09 |
| Been to this pub many times, but not for about two years now. It is as far as i know still in need of a complete refurbishment.,as it was then.I am also told it looks very rough inside as all the fixtures and fittings are well worn and shaby. Having not been for so long i cant comment about the beer, but it used to be very good. There is a good smoking area in the yard at back,which is part covered over. The toilets too are in the back of the yard and not inside the pub. Alcester is a very nice little place with some very good pubs and walks nearby. flowers2 - 28 Oct 2009 15:38 |
