Pleasant pub in an area awash with students and arty types. My pint of Red Ale, although very tasty cost nearly four quid, Rab C Nesbitt would be weeping! nokegthanks - 1 Jul 2014 22:15 |
I loved this pub. Spent a great night in the upstairs bar 2 years ago. Like others have said it has a nice locals feel to it / relaxed clientelle of all ages. We had lots of room for our group of around 12. Even had Bauhaus on the jukebox. One of my favourite Glasgow pubs. Pat_Bateman - 10 Jan 2011 15:35 |

Stumbled in here on a Tuesday night in May. Managed to get a decent pint of Budvar which went down nicely. We also got roped into trying the locals quiz night which was almost impossible. We didnt win :( mrgrumble - 1 Jun 2009 07:11 |
I recently visited this pub during a brief break in Glasgow, having drank in it years ago. It was a Saturday night and it was really busy. It has a unreconstructed 60's appearance about it..The clientele were a really mixed bunch - all ages and occupations. It had a friendly atmosphere and I suspect the anti-smoking ban landlord is long gone. His predictions about the negative impact the ban would have on his pub being proved wrong. The pub is busier than ever and you can breathe in it. The staff were very friendly and there were real ales on tap. Try in when you are in the area. Jimg jimg - 27 Apr 2009 12:26 |
