| Quality boozer, I suspect they smuggle the bar staff in from Armenia in the same truck as they get their moody plasma screens from. Cheap and cheerful, also shows satellite TV from 47 different countries on various screens around the pub. statto74 - 2 Sep 2011 15:55 |
| I�ll go along with the general sentiment that this pub is far better inside than the exterior would suggest. I found the barmaid to be friendly enough and one of the locals allowed me to buy my pint of Guinness before them as they were getting a large round in, now you won�t see that in any well heeled area. There are plasma screens everywhere for watching the football, including the enormous four screener mentioned in a previous post. I�m pretty sure that there was a pool table and a dartboard, but my memory isn�t the best after the skin full I had imbibed. There is a paved beer garden out the back which is enclosed by some wooden fencing and is overlooked by some exceptionally shabby looking flats. | I think this pub is ok....nobody bothers you, majority are very friendly, and service is super-fast....i normally get cursed after i rate a pub so i'll probably be barred this week lol....until then, keep up the good work! gaps - 16 Jul 2008 22:07 |
