Didn't realise this pub/restaurant was listed, my post relates to July 2009 on a stormy night when the ferries were making heavy weather of it. The bar had limited ales as I recall, but I definitely remember that the service was appalling. The young waiter stood around and refused to have his eyes caught. Eventually we had to go to the till to get food served and complain about the waiter, at least the food was good. Such a pity as the location, views and ferry passengers were a welcome change from the normal.

Typical insular 'end of the road' pub that fails on so many levels. Go to the Ferry Inn instead - this place is a joke and needs to up its game. The crisps were nice though (I'm being sarcastic).

No draught Real Ale again!! 5 empty handpumps with a very tacky a couple of bottles in a fridge, so no chance of enjoying. Staff seem uninterested except in the 2 or 3 locals who are either pissed or offensive, sometimes both. One bonus is "relatively" cheap prices for Skye. Take your own drink to Skye and let the locals enjoy their dive. They want your money but not you the person.

Went in with high expectations but food was dreadful, overpriced and poor service and beer dissapointing. Waitress sat behind desk eating burger and ignored us so we left without the dessert we would have had. Foreign family sitting next to us had problem with credit card transaction and wanted reassurance that they hadn't been charged twice and instead the barmaid through them out! Lovely location but will never go there again.

Two ales on (Red and Black Cuillin), good views out over the water. Food looked good too.
