| I visited in late january 2005 ( and will visit again in Jan 2006 ) Yes, basic and spartan but VERY welcoming ( it's a treat when a "stranger" enters a pub with a big rucksack and the place doesn't go quiet as everyone stares at you !)the food was wholesome and very reasonably priced ( I was on a budget) very good, and I look forward to going again next month garvey57 - 18 Dec 2005 08:59 |
| Don't let the ramshackle exterior and spartan decor fool you, this is the place to go in Tobermory. Nice small size and the open wood fire only adds to the coziness of the place. Food menu limited but decent enough and a good range of ales. What makes the MacDonald stand out is its excellent whisky collection. I recommend one of Mull's own single malts!
