Best avoided. The pub doesn't appear to offer real ales anymore. Only John Smith's or Guinness available on a recent visit. I got the impression the place is dying a slow death. spookyhead - 26 Jan 2009 19:20 |
Not a bad place I suppose. The cliental are all okay, its that strange mix of Coventry working class/rural hillbilly(landscape gardener) and farming community types. Its a strange breed and people do get murdered out this way occasionally, but so long as you don't get too friendly you'll be fine. recent beers in here have been Abbot Ale and the big drawback is Kronenburg instead of Stella. I think a bit of kareoke is on thursday. BolshevistBoozehound - 16 Aug 2007 10:05 |

A friendly pub with a warm welcome as you arrive two great open fires in the winter months, on a monday evening they hold quiz nights and on a thursday night karaoke. The real ales are not to be missed and the traditional good pub food the staff are friendly and you are in total relaxation. They have a large beer garden and car parking in the summer they have a bouncy castle for the children i highly recomend this pub. sarah - 25 Oct 2004 13:20 |
