Rough as arseholes boozer off Friargate. Formerly a must visit in Preston but now the opposite. JonNgog - 27 Aug 2019 20:24 |
Sadly this place has gone down the pan. Boarded-up window and Smiths, Fosters and Guinness 'choice'. A great shame the way the place has gone. No longer worth a look. wobblybob - 21 Apr 2014 23:03 |
How the mighty have fallen! Used to be the best pub in Preston. Now a dirty, horrible bar more suited to the WKD drinkers. Apparently "8 beers on tap" Never seen more than 2 (Pedigree, London Pride) the_realist - 10 Mar 2012 20:48 |
NOW CLOSED - Local Rumours it is to be bought by the manager of the local oddbins and turned into a winebar. burns20 - 9 Aug 2010 12:45 |
Another good recent visit, a couple of Salamander's tried and were ok. Friends in attendence had problems with an awful tasting cider (washing up liquid) - on sending back the barman did highlight that it was supposed to taste as such!!! Still far from convinced about the new decor. The back room by the pool table must have the biggest lcd tv known to man (in comparasion to size of room). bloomfieldjpm - 20 Oct 2009 05:43 |
