Nice pub, good for a lunchtime drink. Completely unpretentious unlike the whole of Ditchling just down the road. Often pop in but never stayed to see a night out, probably rather pleasant. Make a good local. lumponmyhead - 12 Jun 2014 19:32 |

My first visit to this pub and I wish I'd tried it before. A proper village pub, friendly, comfortable and welcoming. Only had 2 ales on, Harveys and Ruddles County and I tried both and both were very well kept. I am told the Whistling Duck shiraz was good too. There is an extensive menu of reasonably priced, freshly prepared food. Nothing too flash but good value and very tasty. The staff were all friendly and helpful too. There's a decent sized car park, a garden and restaurant and bar areas. Dogs are welcome in the bar area. gareth1011 - 22 Jun 2013 18:32 |
Very nice friendly village pub, good range of beers including Harveys and they do an excellent pint of draught Guinness. Good food, reasonable menu, often supplemented by some good specials on the board and scrumptious range of desserts in the chiller cabinet. One warning however, if your meal comes with gravy it will be pre-applied and your food will be sitting in an ocean of the stuff, thick and dark. My suggestion: please supply a gravy boat and let us apply to our taste! BigCat8 - 20 Jun 2013 17:43 |
After another return visit, the Greyhound remains one of our favourite pub eateries. Always tastes freshly cooked and the have Harveys. Never left there disappointed. Hassan is always welcoming. edandcorinne - 15 Mar 2012 22:35 |
