I went to this pub to see a local band and whilst going to the toilets i got threaten to be stabbed by a group of middle aged men This pub attracts low lives and needs improving. Other than that, friendly staff and not a bad place to go for a drink if your still wearing your building site overalls, wouldnt advise going there for a night out with your partner etc. shicko - 18 Jun 2008 16:10 |
The Seven Stars has a new owner. There will still be live bands and entertainment on.New owner takes over Monday 28th April , live bands will be on bank holiday monday jan382 - 28 Apr 2008 16:18 |
I actually like it here. Beer is not too pricey & is kept very well. The staff are always polite & there's never much of a wait to be served (if any wait at all). This is one of those places that hasn't had the character ripped out of it (yet!) and I hope it stays that way, so our next generations of drinkers can see what a delight we used to have (and dearly miss!) when we went for a decent session. anonymous - 21 May 2006 12:00 |
This Pub could be great, if more people went to visit it, could do with various live bands playing and some good advertising. anonymous - 9 Aug 2005 11:32 |
A pub that needs desperately to be modernised. Lively on a Friday evening with ground workers getting their fill for the night. Mostly dull in the week. Would be nice to have a pleasent drink in a dull week with better surroundings. The pub needs to be brought upto scratch. It's no new retrostyled pub - just an old retrograde pub ! WHY doesn't the owner / licensee spend some money on making the pub fit for the more 'aware' pub client. StuB - 9 Oct 2004 22:24 |
