Reasonable Spoons on the Monday night I visited. alexw - 14 Nov 2016 21:23 |
Our second 'Spoons of the day. This one wasn't quite as good. Bar staff didn't seem to give two hoots. The ale and cider selection was not the best either - Portobello Market Porter, Adnams Enraptured, Fullers London Pride, Red Squirrel Redwood American IPA & Greene King Abbot & IPA. Ciders were Cornish Orchards Farmhouse Cider & Sandford Orchards Rhubarbed. The place was fairly quiet. blue_scrumpy - 27 Jul 2014 19:16 |
Came in here on a Friday evening at around 7.Couldn't believe how quiet it was.No more then 20 in,which for a City pub at that time on a Friday is terrible.Three staff on looking very under utilised.Decent pint of Timothy Taylor's Golden. boundsgreenboy - 28 Oct 2013 21:47 |
Building has no character: but we found staff efficient and welcoming, and service remarkably quick for a Friday lunchtime. Excellent Stowford Press: but Ale Festival not heavily featured. Standard JDW food. artieleblanc - 5 Apr 2013 19:32 |
Came in on a Friday lunchtime and most people were q'ing for food. The service for food and drink was slow, really slow. I ordered pints of Umble Ale and stepped away from the bar. Not that busy really, decent spoons and another tick. Reasonably priced even though it's on the cusp of the city. lezford - 3 Dec 2012 19:38 |
