| The pub itself has about the level of character you'd expect from a chain pub. However, it's clean and comfortable, so no complaints there. The real jewel in the crown for The Black Horse is its staff. They're always polite and friendly, happy to discuss and recommend menu options, and provide great service. | just to update here, the black horse is under new management so chances are it wont be in the good beer guide, but it seems the landlord is keen and he is open to suggestion for ales to go on, it is still a green king pub but he is allowed to have 2 guest ales on, so hey use it or lose it to another barrel of bloody IPA jonthehat - 18 Nov 2010 21:27 |
