Now a Harvester. No real ale - no Cask Marque. Nice views over the Dee from the rear terrace. Beefheart - 17 Apr 2010 10:32 |
This place used to be a Beefeater and after visiting there vowed never to go back despite it being only 5 mins from the house.Harvester is now there and after a friend recommended it to me I decided to give it a try. What a difference in the place. From the minute we walked in the door to be greeted by a smiley, friendly person, who turned out to be the Manager to the minute we left, we were extremely impressed by the staff and the service along with the standard of the food and the free salad.Definately looking forward to going back.My only fault was that the first cubicle I went into had a broken seat. lancashirelassie - 26 Oct 2008 16:13 |
They play the same CD continuoslly and it drives you stir crazy after the second time! The bar staff are not permitted to change it as it is the companies choice. None of the prices seem to come 0 or 5 so you always end up with a pocket full of 1p and 2p pieces which can be annoying. The bar staff are friendly but the bar/restaurant manager is completely useless and causes more problems than she ever sorts out. The pints of lager taste good and it sells real ale if that is your thing but there are better pubs nearby. Avoid if possible. Don_Logan - 15 Feb 2007 01:56 |
