| Yep, a safe bet. A great range of real ales at an amazing price. This does lend to a gaggle of local boozers who come in every day, although they do tend to be pretty harmless. | This is my favourite pub! Spend most of my time there (which is sad really, i know). The staff are great. The food is usually pretty good, and cheap enough. Always a friendly atmoshphere and generally a good mix of people. I like the fact that there is no music because this is somewhere you go for a chat and a laugh. They had music on a Friday night for a while but it was far too loud, couldn't hear what anyone was saying. Glad they got rid of it. anonymous - 22 Jul 2005 13:55 |
