Some very nice beers on offer.
Exe Valley It's Phil's Ale, Hunters Easy Street Blues, Butcombe Original, 6X, and the not so nice Doombar.
Very good choice of food at ridiculous low prices - ever.
Just about gets the pub atmosphere.

Very attractive flower arrangement outside.
Good choice of real ales (4/5).
I had a very nice pint of Doombar.
Sunday lunch time and every table had a "Reserved" sign on it.
So our group had to stand at the bar making it difficult for other customers to get served.
For that reason we didn't stop for a second (or third) pint.
Shame !
Maybe drinkers (non eaters) should have there own drinking area like the smokers !

Very nice looking traditional pub with a great floral exterior.Inside for local/regional ales available of which I quaffed a superb pint of SA Tribute, 7/10

Large, single room pub with entrances either side of the bar which, unusually faces inwards to the back wall. Five pumps - four in operation on my visit - serving Doom Bar, Tribute, Teignworthy Beachcomber and O'Hanlons Port Stout. I tried the Port Stout which was good.
On my midday visit, 90% of the clientele were of the elderly persuasion and all of them were eating (a coachload of tourists perhaps?).
I can't quite put my finger on it, but it just didn't have the right atmosphere that I look for in a pub. However, I will try it again next time I'm in the area
